While The Wild Kitchen is known for our outdoor cooking experiences, we’re not limited to wide-open spaces — we love the challenge of bringing our fire-driven magic to urban settings too. There’s something truly magical about cooking for a wedding surrounded by love, laughter, and a sense of community. Sami and Evan’s wedding at The Guild Hotel in downtown San Diego was a perfect example. This beautiful celebration brought together friends and family for a day filled with connection and joy. For their 200 guests, we created a feast that highlighted the season’s best — roasting pumpkins and hanging whole yellowtail fish over open flames. We set up a unique harvest table, offering guests an interactive roaming experience. They walked up to be plated, while the chefs carved the meat and served it directly onto their plates.
